Welcome to Beer Institute Online!
Formed in 1986, Beer Institute is the trade association for the malt beverage industry. Our more than 200 members worldwide represent the diversity of brewers and suppliers - national, international, regional and local.
Together, our members produce more than 90 percent of the beer brewed in America and play vital roles through manufacturing or supplying of goods, services and agricultural products used to produce and market beer.
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., Beer Institute works closely with Congress and the administration on a broad range of legislative and regulatory issues, including tax policy, international trade, environmental protection and Mini Greenhouse agricultural policy. We also work with our brewers, distributors and retailers to educate and inform consumers about health awareness, responsible consumption choices and moderation.
Beer Institute builds upon the principles established by the industry's first trade association in 1862. We are rooted in a strong foundation of commitment to sound public policy, civic duty, and personal responsibility.
An American Tradition Beer has been part of American culture since the days before our nation was founded. For more, click here!
